I have a Samsung Exclaim telephone and I cannot understand why NO ONE will make a hard shelled case that actually protects the stinking screen! But I digress LOL. I wanted something that would protect my phone while it was in my purse, but be easy for me to just reach in and slip it out of the case before it actually stopped ringing. This one is perfect. The 'wallet' side is hard and protects my screen from accidental bumps from the other various flotsom and jetsum that end up in my purse. It is also great for holding receipts (or your driver's license, credit cards, extra house key, pictures of the grandkids, whatever). The cell phone side is just right for my phone and leaves enough leeway for me to reach in and pull it out without taking the whole wallet with me. The velcro closure seems sturdy enough (although I usually just fold it out of the way). It's a very pretty wallet too, I like the patent leather crocodile look. Highly recommend the product and the company and I'm seriously thinking about buying a couple more in different colors.
The case was nice and was exactly what my friend wanted - a small case for just cell phone, credit cards, and ID's. The chain is a handy addition. Delivery was two weeks slower than promised, though, which was no fault of Amazon but My Jewel
